Please let me introduce you to Pansy II by Australian doll designer, Jan McLean. She is made for Jan McLean Originals for the Flowers of the Heart miniature collection. She is approximately 17 inches tall but she is a sitting doll and she comes to you sitting in her own black vintage rocking chair and holding her own little white teddy bear. She is also 100% porcelain and in perfect condition. Pansy II has blonde hair cut with bangs in a short bob. She has on a burgundy beret that is adorned with a burgundy flower in front with green leaves. Her face is hand painted with feathered eyebrows, blue eyes with hand painted eyelashes. She has a perfect little nose with perfect pink lips in a closed mouth. She is wearing her demure little cotton dress that has a large white collar adorned with black stripes on each side of the collar and in the middle of the collar there is a sheer olive green ribbon tied in a bow. Pansy's dress is black cotton with white cuffs on her long sleeves that also have two black stripes around them. Her arms are articulated at the elbows and even her fingernails are painted pink and ready to hold her white teddy bear. Pansy's dress also has a full skirt that has three pleats that go around the entire skirt. Around her skirt she wears a burgundy satin ribbon that ties in a bow in the back. One of the cutest parts of her outfit, I think, are her stockings. They are knitted with black and white stripes that go around her legs. She also wears a white sheer cotton slip underneath and white cotton panties. Her shoes are black leather and they are fastened with small gold beads. She is so thin and dainty and fits so well in her rocking chair! This Pansy II as I said is in perfect condition and is now retired so she is hard to find. Soon after she was released in 2002 she was selling for $675. This one is only number 138 of only 500 made and is signed and numbered on the back of her by Jan McLean. She does not have her original box or COA so I am selling her for just $350.00 ** NOW ON SALE $75 OFF TO $275.80 plus shipping of $56.26 because she has to be very carefully packed and I may have to ship the rocking chair in a separate box.
